This year’s theme is: "Tell Us Something That Matters to You"
That could be…

• A personal story

• A strong opinion

• Something funny, random, or serious

• Your school, your culture, your sport

• Why pineapple definitely does (or doesn’t!) belong on pizza

You don’t need to be “good at English” or write like Shakespeare. Just write like you, real, bold, and honest.

You’ll get full access to WordFrame to help plan, structure, and improve your piece, without writing it for you.

📜 Rules

• Must be written inside WordFrame

• Must be original work (no AI-written text)

• Max 500 words

• One entry per student

• Open to all NZ students doing NCEA Levels 1–3

Entries will be judged on:

• Originality & voice

• Clear structure & ideas

• Writing quality & flow

• How well it shows you care about your topic

✅ How to Enter

Step 1: Sign up for free – WordFrame will be 100% free from August 15 – September 1.
Step 2: Pick a topic you care about, this can be anything that matters to you.
Step 3: Write it in WordFrame, Start a “WordFrame FREE August Challenge” project and use WordFrame’s structure + feedback tools.
Step 4: Keep your project saved and it will automatically be submitted!

To unsubmit any project, simply delete it from your WordFrame projects, or change the project type.
